But the downtown restaurant, with its mosaic tiled tables and larger-than-life flamenco dancer painted on the wall, remains the original charmer. The menu here is very affordable, and I often wonder if they keep prices down by eschewing decoration altogether. Additions to the printed menu can be found on makeshift signs on the walls, and they come recommended. Sette Osteria is what you want. The huge windows at this Italian trattoria look out onto the hubbub of Connecticut Avenue in Dupont Circle, and in warmer months, the patio opens up for patrons to dine al fresco.

But this is certainly where the beautiful people come to dine. Kramers is an independent bookstore that has survived the onslaught of giant booksellers. I love the lighting and comfortable booths. However, I noticed this time that there is a lovely outdoor space for those who love to sit outside. The bar looks nice too. Service was fast and friendly.

Went for brunch and food was ahhhh-maxing! Have gone here for dinner too and it never disappoints! Great food, great service. One of my favorite restaurants in Cbus!

Consistently good each visit! Best prime rib in town. Stopped for lunch while traveling, and the food and service was impeccable!!! Such a great stop. Added to our favorites, and will return again. The outdoor setting was lovely!!! Our server was amazing. And he was the high point of our experience. We were seated on the patio--just outside the french doors. We were so close to the door, my husband was hit in the back every single time the doors were opened. We couldn't move the table because they are placed so close together, there is nowhere to move the table.

All of the tables are uncomfortably close to one another. We were sharing the patio with a family with toddlers who destroyed the patio planters and pulled off covers to electrical outlets. Not once did a manager come out to address the situation. It was our son's birthday--which was noted at the time of the reservation. I wanted it to be a special evening. Our dinners were pitiful. I ordered the tomato basil chicken. The zuchini risotto sounded so good, it was gummy and unseasoned. The steamed vegetables were not seasoned.

My son's girlfriend never commented on her parmesan crusted chicken, which leads me to think it was less than impressive as well. My husband and son both had the prime rib. The cuts were extremely fatty, unseasoned, and very tough.

My son said he was starting to think they were served large slabs of roast beef instead of prime rib. The au jus was so watered down, no taste remained. I do not mind paying money for good food. I do not enjoy paying good money for sub par food.

All our of dinners were disappointing. This was our first time having dinner here and will be our last time. There are so many amazing choices in this area, we expected a great experience. Reviews led me to think it would be great. I am sure Polaris Grill was amazing in it's day; sadly it would seem it's day has passed. The insides of the doors leading out to the patio as well as in and out of the facility were filthy. You just don't expect to see this in fine dining locations.

Food was excellent as always! But our waitress was very unfriendly! No smiles, no chatting. The only time she smiled was when she handed us the bill. Will come back often, as usual but she will not be our waitress. Haven't been here in over 10 years. I was a little leery when we parked, the parking lot is not in great condition and the outside needs updating.

I was relieved when we walked in as it was lovely. We had made reservations for a Tuesday night, but it was not crowded at all. We were catching up with friends we hadn't seen in a while and the server was great at being attentive but giving us plenty of time to visit. I got the 55 salad which is a leftover from the 55 on the Boulevard Restaurant we loved a long time ago.

It's still a great salad. I had the crab cakes which were mostly crab yeah, they gave me 3 crab cakes with asparagus perfectly done and delicious mashed potatoes. I took some home for lunch the next day. I had the Cosmopolitan as a matter of fact I had two.

It was a lovely evening and I will go back sooner than later. Best walleye in town We enjoyed the food, the service, the fair food prices. I have already recommended it to other people. Very good with great service. Definitely a must try! The 55 salad and the mushroom bisque are legendary! Although the location's website states that it is a business casual environment, it appears you can come quite a bit more casually.

I booked this restaurant believing it to be a little bit nicer than the multitude of chain restaurants in the area for my anniversary. Unfortunately, while the food and service were quite good, the overall experience did not rate any different to me that any of the other chains I could have gone to. The staff was so nice and helpful.

We were received quickly and our server was quite pleasant, attentive and very helpful. The food was delicious and the presentation was nice. We very much enjoyed our meal. However, in the end, I did not leave having felt that the location was any more special than the surrounding restaurants, but a bit more expensive.

For special occasions, there are definitely a few nicer places around, but for good food and service, this place absolutely did great! The food was delicious and the service by Laura was outstanding. Dining on their patio was fantastic!
